GoldChateau does not endorse any Returns & Exchanges policies due to the nature of the transactions in precious metals and jewellery. Therefore, guests are highly encourage to take careful measurements before making of purchases on the website. Any payment made will result in transaction becoming final and binding with rights for refunds and exchanges revoked.
All merchandises(s) are strictly not returnable/exchangeable if it does not fit as measurements stated on our website.
FOR DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE RECEIVED:
The definition of a defective merchandise is an item that has manufacturing defects; [Incidents such as unable to close the clip to the bracelet or missing beads to earring or bracelet.]
However, as mentioned earlier, our gold and jewellery products have undergone intensive checks thus such incidents are minimised.
We also seek to clarify that for such incidents, the period of coverage will be 7 days upon delivery of item, to which an one to one item will be replaced at a higher price or weight as no two similar designs of a same item for such jewellery be of identical weights. Replacement is also subject to the stock availability.
This policy does not apply to Precious Gems and Jewellery items as Precious Gems by Nature contains flaws and the description of the listing may not fully describe all the flaws. Thus, Guests purchase of such products on our site is deemed to have implicitly or explicitly agreed to waive any arising liabilities to claims of defective merchandise received.
*In the event, if the item is out of stock, refunds or exchanges for items of the same value will be allowed. For items that are a higher value, top-ups will have to be borne by the customer.
FOR INCORRECT MERCHANDISE RECEIVED:
We will do an exchange for the correct item, and GOLDCHATEAU will bear for the postage cost on goodwill basis.
There will be no refunds upon payment made and should guests subsequently decides on insisting of the same item which we do not have available stock, we will do an order for it with shortfall costs in weight or price to be borne by guests.
**This is on applicable for Guests who chooses GoldChateau Personalised Courier services where such incidents arises. **
After the stipulated period, it will be taken that guests have foregone their rights to request for exchanges.
Therefore, we advise guests to inform us and leave intact the said item for collection within 7 days’ time from the date item delivery.
